Edu Box Awarded Nigerians Outstanding Students At JC Best Schools.
Nigeria based educational support non-governmental organization [NGO] headed by Mr Sanusi tosin [EDU BOX] teamed up with International social network empowerment agencies To Award Top Students in Nigeria June 2016 and also planning to add financial reward for more students come 2017.Edu box CEO Mr Sanusi Tosin and his team made research on how non educational programs gain more audience than educative programs in Nigeria, has now set up a plan to ensure educational programs becomes a top notch in Nigeria
According to Mr sanusi Tosin, ‘we observed that too many activities that caries large followers on social networks and in the general public in Nigeria are non educative platform programs and such programs usually attracts huge amount of money to be won by participants which is not encouraging students to study more because talent shows seems to be paying off than educational programs sponsored by corporate bodies, but educative programs hardly get sponsorship and pushing students off from participating in academic programs in the community.
Earlier this year Edu Box team was willing to identify and award the outstanding students in Nigeria, they went further to approach [WAEC] to help in getting the list of [WAEC] best students, unfortunately, West Africa’s foremost examining body [WAEC] charged Edu Box a sum of [1.8 million Naira] before such academic information can be released to any body willing to promote educational platforms in nigeria, which alert the online blast of WAEC and Sanusi Tosin.
Finally, Edu Box in collaboration with Sterling Business Network [SBN] a Caribbean Marketing and leadership consultancy, Scotch Bonnet and D-Grace International Sports Consult has worked out an alternate approach to award top students in Nigeria, recently at JC Best Schools International, Edu Box and the international team, executed the pilot for training Youth in Leadership and Entrepreneurship.
The successful event saw over 300 students participants in the 3-hour training session that covered leadership principles and negotiation skills that enhance the students physical empowerments, hundred top students were awarded at the program, Tosin Sanusi was happy with the response to the pilot and the feedback from the teachers and students.
“Through collaboration like this, we want to award more students and give them the platform to be the best they can.
Having international partners on ground to help in fulfilling the dream is very important and we want to award as many students as possible come 2017.” Says Mr. Sanusi.
